ALUMNI

  • Our humble thanks...

to a few of the people who made Maximum Paintball what it is today.

  • Peter Olaguez

    Peter has left the building.
Peter grew up right before our eyes. He was 16 when he walked in the door for his first day of work. He soaked up everything we taught him, then he taught others, then he became the manager, and just as we realized he was now perfect in every way...he was gone. But that's okay with us. You see, this is exactly what we wanted. Grow them up, send them to school, and watch them move into the career they've studied for. Peter is now working at International Paper in Visalia in their engineering internship program.
    We couldn't be more proud.
  • Kevin

Kev was still in highschool when he came to us. From day one he was organized and committed to doing his job right, without giving up who he was. For five years he wasn't late and didn't call in sick. He was behind the counter on February 1, the day we were robbed. He took all the brutality of that day and managed to keep a cool head. It was because of his quick thinking that allowed Thom to get the police to the store in 3 minutes. Kevin is a private man and that's why his picture won't be posted here.

    Thanks Kev.

  • Mark 'the pope' Pisor

Mark and his friends were among some of our first customers. In the beginning, his gun of choice was a Model 98 clocked at 900 fps and at a record breaking weight (exact poundage is still debated today). Year after year Mark came into the store gradually turning into a competitve tournament player. His reputation grew and soon he was known only as 'Pisor'. For a short time he even worked with us at the store... a very short time. In the end, Pisor is enemy to no one, a great paintball player, captain of the semi pro team and part of our family.

  • Mike Sciaca

Our first real manager. Mike came up with great ideas that we still use today. He was very instrumental in helping Maximum grow into what it is today. We're very proud of him for finishing college and for doing so well.

  • Andrew ' sparky' Lemanek

Drew first came into the store when he was 13 years old. It wasn't long before we claimed him as our own and named him 'sparky'. He played in the Pan Am Young Guns division in 2001 and won the circuit championship that year. Besides being a great paintball player, friend, and employee, Sparky is now overseas making sure we're all safe. He's never far from our thoughts.

And to our customers our most sincere 'thanks'

Since our 10 year anniversary is this year, we find ourselves reflecting on the past. It really seems like just yesterday when our first sale was a neoprene 7oz tank cover. So many groups and families from all over the Central Valley. In 1998 many of our customers were twelve years old. Now they're in college, starting families of their own, and protecting our country.

When we had the unfortunate experience of being robbed at gunpoint our customers rallied around us. The police wouldn't allow us in the store all day, but when we did get in, there were countless messages left on our answering machine. Our customers, our friends, wanted to make sure we were okay.

Fresno and the Valley have been great to us. We promise to never compromise on our service standards, to always be straightforward and honest and to grow our shop and field and keep everyone entertained!
